Lashaunda Holmes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Winston-Salem State University. Lashaunda earned her master’s degree in social work from Louisiana State University. She has an abundance of knowledge and experience working with diverse populations including those experiencing homelessness, individuals diagnosed with HIV and those seeking therapy in an outpatient setting. Lashaunda values and believes that developing a strong rapport and providing clients with a safe environment is the key to a successful client-therapist relationship. She works to assist clients with processing emotions and creating new thought patterns that help them achieve their therapeutic goals. Lashaunda is passionate about helping others through serving individuals, couples and families. Lashaunda enjoys working with adolescents and young adults. Through an eclectic approach, Lashaunda utilizes evidence-based interventions and treatment modalities. She works to teach ways to manage stress, develop healthy coping skills, and hold clients accountable for experiencing all the joy life has to offer while offering support and empathy throughout their journey.
